KIM JONG SMOKEHOUSE is a collaboration of three Portland, Oregon chefs who decided to create a menu of Korean-style street food using Southern-style BBQ smoking techniques.

Our menu focuses exclusively on two Korean street food classics: steamed buns and bibimbap (bowls of scorched rice, sweet potato noodles and seasoned vegetables). Orders of bibimbap come with one of our smoked-in-house specialties (galbi short ribs, salmon, pork, chicken or mushrooms) and are served your choice of our four house-made sauces. A rotation of desserts, classic sodas and seasonal draft beers round out the menu.

We currently have two locations — one in Northwest Portland at 413 NW 21st Ave, and one at Portland’s new Pine Street Market, located at 126 SW 2nd Ave. Our current hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, and Friday and Saturday until 10. Customers are also welcome to order online.
